Contact-impact is a particularly salient phenomenon which plays an important role pervasive in many applications involving the design and analysis of mechanical system, especially for the key parts or structures made of composite materials. The oblique contact-impact of the composite structural bars with a solid flat surface has been analyzed theoretically and experimentally. As the proportion of Babbitt increases, the composite structural bar presents a characteristic of ease of deflection.
